We brought friends to have Sunday Roast, they are new to the area. The manager & staff were so welcoming & friendly. The Roasts were superb quality & plentiful. The service was excellent. I would recommend this establishment to anyone 💯
Heading North/A11 from Stansted? Skip the M11 and take country roads towards Saffron Waldon and A11, and you will find this absolute GEM of a pub. Tues lunchtime visit found a lovely welcoming atmosphere with happy people ranging from local elders to mothers with babies! FAB range of real beers. Food looked delicious. Will be returning with more time planned in for grub! The Landlord was very helpful, and born within a few miles from me near Norwich!! Go visit!
I have held a number of Reunion meals with former colleagues over the past five years. On every occasion Jon and his team have provided excellent food, drink, and customer service, hence why we return as a group twice each year. I thoroughly recommend the Coach and Horses, Newport, Essex for any event.
Food was beautifully cooked. The owner was very friendly and the staff were professional and helpful. After living in the area for so long we finally gave the place a try. We were not disappointed. They were very accommodating . Food was good . You can tell it was prepared with love.

The staff are all really friendly and make you feel welcomed from the minute you walk in. The fish and chips here is probably the best i have eaten anywhere.

A party of four adults and five young children is never an easy task..however no long wait and Sunday lunch was delicious. Kids devoured their meals and adults too!! Staff were lovely, and ambience was relaxed and friendly. Will definitely return. Thank you…a really enjoyable family lunch.
