We’ve built a reputation for warm hospitality, excellent freshly cooked food, great beer and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere for all. Set in the heart of Newport, North Essex, just a couple of miles from both the historic market town of Saffron Walden and the spectacular Audley End House, we’re perfectly located for locals and visitors alike.
In the summer, the terrace and garden are ideal for relaxed family drinks, while in the colder months, the roaring log fire makes the pub feel wonderfully cosy.
